how much yarn do you need??
Hectanooga1 - 1.5.2012 11:57:41
Hi there! No, I am totally consumed by the designing aspect of my business, so I no longer sell finished product. I can recommend someone if you are interested in purchasing any finished items.

do you make them and sell them at all ?
Hectanooga1 - 28.4.2012 3:43:03
Absolutely not, you do have to use 2 strands of yarn, but they can be the same color.
Dee DeGraaf - 28.4.2012 1:46:23
Do you have to use 2 different colors?

I have sometimes seen 4 ply here that is called worsted weight, and it is only the size of sport yarn, which is 1/2 half the size of worsted. A good way to judge, is that worsted weight is approximately the size of the lead part of a pencil.... that of course is going on the premise that a pencil lead is the same size everywhere.

Thanks Emi!! We have 4ply, 8ply and I have seen some 12ply wool in our craft/wool stores. I will check around. Thanks again!

It's a 4 ply... perhaps 2 strands of sport yarn would be a good substitute if you have that.

Can you please tell me what worsted weight wool is in ply?? We don't have worsted weight wool in Australia. Thank you!
