I know they don't give a shit. All I'm saying is it sure is going to affect whether I (and maybe many more) buy the game or not. You can buy, I don't care if YOU buy, so have fun anyway. But it just wouldn't feel right (at least for me) to hear a dog yelping under the Super GT and a dog's blood flying all over the place. I find it brutal, harsh, and unnecessary. I don't care if others buy but *I'm not if it has hurtable animals. Do what you will.

I realize that IF an animal hurts you then you MUST kill it before it kills you, yes I agree with this. But I disagree with hurting an animal when it did nothing to deserve it. It's like that self defense against another person thing. Where you ONLY fight to defend yourself. We seem to somewhat agree on certain points though.

Animals are helpless in the violence. It's low-down, even for a video game. I'd much rather shoot a cop and have some balls to take a few bullets in a game then coward out and kill a random animal which won't even be a challenge to get a wanted level. I like challenges in video games, to me that's what they're for and that's what I like. Besides if you don't like health depletion just use a code and don't save. But I gotta go to bed. We'll talk more tomorrow.

Just understand that Rockstar deals with bullshit like that all the time, regardless of whether they "lose customers" or not. Google "lawsuits against Rockstar games" and you will understand. An excerpt from Wikipedia; "In February 2005, a lawsuit was brought upon the makers and distributors of the Grand Theft Auto series claiming the games caused a teenager to shoot and kill three members of the Alabama police force" Hmmm... The case was dismissed. I wonder why? Seems legit.

I'd rather these "psychos" killed animals as a result of playing GTA (lol, really?) than go on mass HUMAN murdering sprees. Yeah, well I find sarcasm insulting, and if you disagree then you don't know what it's for. Some find certain gameplay content inappropriate and quite graphic. I doubt Rockstar would like to lose customers over this. Most likely the reason they are tight-lipped about details of games is so EVERYONE interested will buy and it won't influence buying decisions. With the content, it's like promoting how to hurt animals and give psychos new ideas for more abuse.

And yes, I agree, if they do choose to exlude animals from the game, it's probably going to be because of a shitstorm of abuse letters from animal rights activists. But, personally, I couldn't give two shits about some virtual animals dying, likewise with humans. It's all subjective, and I truly hope I get to run over a beautiful golden retriever with my brand new white Infernus when GTAV is released. That is all.

I was just using the horrible gory events that take place within any GTA game to contrast against you feeling virtual animals being killed is worse. Old people's rights?
