@nsa162 I could be wrong but I think its street legal because its classed as a bicycle and not as a motor vehicle (non combustion engine) thus having no need to install seat belts but depending what country you are from you are required to wear helmets if this is the case...like I said I could be wrong but that's my take on it

No, he is actually going slightly uphill and even more than slightly, in some cases. How do I know? 'Cuz he lives UP the road from me, and I've seen him go by many times. We live in the mountains, and EVERYTHING is uphill or downhill! When he drives DOWN past my place, he still goes back UP the road when he drives home. And because he told me. : )

I have one question about this. This car is certainly great and reduces our dependence on oil but how will this be street legal without seatbelts? I dont see any in the videos

I think it's very innovative. Having batteries, electric motor and human power combined into one is quite efficient. This is something that should be incorporated in city vehicles. Imagine the great shape we'd be all in and better air.

This is just simply amazing. This would help the world so much. It would help us to wean ourselves from the use of fossil fuels to power our vehicles which would lower energy costs around the world and possibly lower the USA's national debt or at least slow down our spending. And on the plus side, it would make the driver exercise and get into shape and falling asleep at the wheel would almost never happen in one of these. I would love to have one when they are available to the public.

This car will not help when oil is over. All we will just die. In 2050 year.
