The two dislikes must have been the Great and the Dear Leader !

North Korea. The place where you get tortured, punished, and killed.
WDI2008 - 28.3.2012 3:03:59
Even China is doing better than North Korea.
nickman777 - 26.3.2012 13:16:41
this is nonsense. ask the 24 million North Koreans if they want to leave the country. 99.9% will say no.
North Korean's have a song called "We shall follow you forever" dedicated to Kim Jong Il.
They'd rather starve and die than let American Imperialism rule their lives.

The funniest country in the whole world.
I don't want reunification. I don't want to live with those zealots.

Oh, come on! What for? Does your country have an interest in sending food to NK? And do you think that in 21st century it would be possible to keep all the journalists from all over the world from finding some good, reliable opinions about NK? And satellite pictures? Are all countries, that have a satellite lying? And when you look at these official pictures from NK, even if they are made just to show off - do they look modern to you? Developing? I don't think so...
shohoku100 - 20.12.2011 10:07:22
My god. It would be an extreme culture shock for the north Koreans if Communism collapses. Though, I think it should.
ZaneDoug711 - 19.12.2011 8:40:51
It is sooo crazy how north korea lives. I feel so badly for them.

Both N & S Korean Cuisine use a lot of garlic (I mean a lot) , the vegetables tend to be shredded very finely and are pickled quite stronly before cooking ... N Korea has a lot of vegetablles that are fermented before cooking (a bit like the German Sauerkraut)
ichigatsujohn - 14.10.2011 4:11:41
What is N. Korean cuisine like? What kind of food do they eat - or, did they eat, before the war? I am guessing that there is not a lot of food in the North now...
keaney123321 - 10.10.2011 18:01:15
What if the west was lying.... Why does no one contemplate that possibility??

N. Korean Cuisine (in its sublime) is very different from Chinese, even S. koran differs greatly ... But you have a point, thanks for the comment...

the revolution in egypt was victorious because they didn't want to kill their own people, in North Korea they wouldn't have any qualms with it, plus as you mentioned the entire population is brainwashed so they wouldn't want to overthrow the gov. and even if they did they would still hate the outside world with a passion.
