I don't want to troll or flame or anything. But for examples a Ferrari F40 or Mclaren F1 are completely different machines than today's models, handle different and feel wildly different. Also these cars have a place in automotive history and have nostalgia surrounding them. I'm saying sometimes I play games not because they are the latest thing in the market.

That is not why you are stupid. Let me explain... Okay, what would you prefer, a used Ferrari, or a brand new one? I will answer for you to save time. You would prefer the new one, although you would get it used because the new one is too expensive. But what if the brand new Ferrari was within your price range? Then you would buy the new one instead, because you can actually afford it. Same principle with the games. The lower the price, the more people will buy new instead of used.

Not like their's an entire industry based around the restoration and sale of old used cars. The thing is, companies stop making older models of things, so you need to buy used copies... to use them. The high game prices at the initial release is just price skimming. The price will come down soon enough. I have a much bigger problem with in-game preorder bonuses that can't be obtained through other means.

Yes, but people buy used games because they can't afford the full price game. The cheaper the new version in, the more people will be able to afford it and will buy it new. It will still have some used sales, but the new sales would increase. You wouldn't buy a used car if you could afford a brand new one, would you? The only reason people buy used is because, for whatever reason, they can't get one new.
