I loved your video 8D I'm a caucasian and I've always had a lot of interest in asian culture, I love anime and I cosplay too :3 I am horrible at languages though XD tried many times to learn a lot of different languages but even my teachers gave up ^^" now I'm trying to learn thai so I can understand my boyfriends mom a little (he is half thai half italian :3 funny mix) but the only thing that bothers me if it's about weeboo's is that most of them don't seem to respect the culture :/

Well, it is never wrong for a person to indulge in a certain/most culture/cultures another society.... I personally think that people who call others weeaboos are worse than grammar Nazis. They do not appreciate a person who is actually appreciating other cultures. I have to admit, weeaboos are far better than racists!

(^_^)A huhuhuhu the forbidden language. The person who came up with the term weeaboo was prolly some sad smuck. Some sad smuck got jelly of someone trying to broaden their horizon by learning a foreign language and bashed them because of it. I enjoyed this video and felt like adding my thumbs up when you brought up the point of just correcting the person's mispronunciation rather than giving them the NG smack of doom, yes I totally rephrased. I had a lot of problems with that. I sang Itsudatte Bokura wa by Ikimonogakari and they commented it very badly, without any explications, just "heta desu" or anything like this. I can't understand why Japanese people don't like strangers who try to speak their langage! :( It makes me sad!

I think it is well said that people who learn and speak japanese are really passionate!! it is soo true!!!! they ARE passionate and it takes a lot of work and persistence to learn and speak a language which is totaly diferent from your own.... and which you cannot hear everyhere around you (like english!)........to all japanese learners: GAMBAREEE !! :DD

I don't think the problem is them speaking Japanese or having an interest in Japanese culture, per say. It's usually the ones who literally believe they are Japanese that are annoying. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having an interest in other cultures, but there's also nothing wrong with being proud of where you came from. :3
